RULES

To ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2008,
please take note of the following festival rules.

ALL AREA

  • As it is an all night event, persons under 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or to bring proof of parent's permission.
    Persons who don't follow the directions of the festival staff will be required to leave the festival site. Thank you for your understanding.
  • You will receive a wrist band at the front gate upon entering which is to be worn tightly on your wrist. If you lose your wrist band,
    you will have to replace it at your own expense or you will be required to leave the site.
  • You can move freely between stages and attractions.
  • Make sure to throw your trash in the proper trash boxes or take it with you out from the festival site.
  • Please bring a portable ashtray and smoke at the marked smoking spots. Please refrain from smoking in the standing zone and in crowded areas.
  • There are no lockers in the site. The festival takes no responsibility for any accidents or lost property in and out of the site.
    So please watch your belongings.
  • Cameras and recording devices are allowed throughout the site, but it is strictly prohibited to photograph artists and/or record music in any circumstances. Violation of this rule will result in the confiscation of your device.
  • The number of people allowed in the standing zone may be limited for safety reasons.
  • The festival takes no responsibility for injuries caused by moshing or diving during performances although a first aid facility will be provided. Please be careful when enjoying the shows.
  • Persons who only have purchased a ticket for the 15th must leave the site before 23:30 on that day or will be charged for the 16th as well.
  • Persons with 2 day tickets have free access to the site before the opening of the gate on the 16th but may be denied access if the gate area and the parking lot are too crowded. We ask for your understanding in this matter.
  • The festival area will be open until 12:00am (noon) of the following day after all events end. Please make sure to leave the site by this time.
  • No glass bottles, cans, electric generators, fires lit on ground, fireworks or pets are permitted on the site.
  • Bicycles are not permitted in the site for safety reasons (except for those belonging to event staff).
  • No glass bottles or cans are permitted in the site.
  • Glass bottles and cans are not permitted to be taken into the festival site and will be confiscated at the entrance if found.

    • Bottle drink of any kind
    • Beer server for cans
    • Beer jugs
    • Drinking glasses

* Please take out empty barrels and/or bottles after use.

LEISURE SITE

  • In the leisure site, leisure sheets and cooler boxes can be used, but tents, parasols,
    tarpaulin shelters and sunshades are NOT permitted to be taken into the site.
  • The leisure site is closed from 24:00(midnight) on the 15th to 11:00am on the 16th.
    Please leave the site with all of your belongings before closing time and please follow the directions of the festival staff.
  • Anyone can use the area. Please yield space to each other and be prepared to put your leisure sheet away when crowded.

TENT SITE

  • The usage of camping stoves and briquette fuel is permitted but the lighting of fires on ground is prohibited throughout the tent site. As it can get very windy around the site please be careful when lighting fires. The usage of fire is not permitted anywhere outside of the tent area
  • HEAVEN'S and HAPINESS tent site users are requested to choose a block at the tent site reception desk on the day of arrival. A block may be assigned due to the limited number of blocks.
  • A block will be assigned at the tent site reception desk for FOREST and VILLAGE tent site users.
  • Collect all your group's tickets and present them at the tent site reception desk if sharing more than one block with a group.
  • Please prepare your tent and make sure to pitch it within your block.

AUTO-CAMPING SITE

  • Toilets and sinks are available
  • All forms of sales activities and performances are prohibited in the auto-camping site.
    The digging of holes and ditches in the ground is also prohibited.
  • There are no trash bins. Please take out your own trash.
  • Please exchange your ticket for a pass to the auto-camping site at the entrance.
    This pass cannot be re-issued for any reason so make sure to keep it safe and please return it at the exit when you leave.
  • One way traffic throughout the site. Please follow signs and staff's directions. When you enter and exit, please slow down and turn on your hazard flasher and please stop the engine when you get to your assigned block.
  • The festival is not responsible for any accidents or thefts in the site.
  • The auto-camping site opens at 9:00am on both the 15th and the 16th.
  • No re-entry is allowed during the festival.
  • For security reasons, persons who wish to leave the site after the end of the events on the 15th are required to do so by the time the gate closes at 3am on the 16th, Please leave by 12:00am (noon) after the festival ends on the 17th.
  • A parking ticket is valid for one car (5x6m) Motorbikes over 50cc and electric bikes cannot be parked. Over-sized vehicles such as camping cars need 2 tickets and are required to use the spaces reserved for large vehicles (10x10m). Parking spots will be assigned at the site.

PARKING

  • Cars must be parked in the parking lot. Do not park illegally.
    The parking lot opens at 9:00am on both 15th and 16th.
  • You have free access to the parking lot during the festival (except for 3:00am-9:00am on the 16th to avoid crowding). The parking lot for cars and bikes close at 12:00 on the 17th as does as the festival site. Please make sure to leave the site by this time.
  • A parking ticket is valid for one vehicle.
    Please prepare 2 tickets for large vehicles exceeding 5m.
  • The festival is not responsible for any accidents or thefts in and out of the parking lot.
  • All forms of sales and performances are prohibited in and out of the parking lot.
  • There are no trash bins. Please take out your own trash.
  • Toilets and sinks (for washing hands only) are available.
  • The parking lot and the auto-camping site open at 3:00pm on the 14th. No entry or exit is allowed between 9:00pm on the 14th and 9:00am on the 15th.
  • Staying in a tent or a car in front of the gate is prohibited. You can either stay in your car in the parking lot or pitch a tent in the auto-camping site.

    OTHERS

  • Have you purchased your ticket?

    Parking cars and using shuttle buses are required to purchase a ticket in advance.
    Persons coming by bicycle or motorbike are required to park in the free parking area.
  • Please be prepared for cold weather!

    It can get as cold as 10 degrees C during nighttime and strong winds may make the temperature feel even colder.
    Bringing warm clothes is strongly recommended to spend the night comfortably. Please be prepared well to fully enjoy 2-day event.
