Persons coming by car or shuttle bus are required to purchase a parking ticket in advance.
However, for the official tour you don't have to purchase an additional bus ticket. Persons coming by bicycle
or motorbike are required to park in the free parking area.

By car

From New Chitose Airport

New Chitose Airport > (Hokkaido Express Way) Chitose IC > Drive pass Sapporo-minami/south IC > Exit at Sapporo-kita/north IC or Shinkawa IC > Festival site (approx. time required: 1h 40min)

From JR Sapporo Station

JR Sapporo Station > Festival site (approx. time required: 40min)

Parking Tickets: 2,000 yen per car

Persons coming by car are required to buy a parking ticket.


  • You have free access to the parking lot during the festival (except for 3:00am-9:00am on the 16th to avoid crowding).
    The parking lot for cars and bikes close at 12:00 on the 17th as does the festival site. Please make sure to leave the site by this time.
  • Please follow signs and the directions of the staff in the parking lot. Saving parking spots is prohibited.
  • Persons coming by bicycle or motorbike are required to park in the free parking area. (No parking ticket required)
  • Traffic rules apply during the festival as well. Please follow the instructions of the festival staff.

From New Chitose Airport to Asabu staion (Namboku subway line).

Shuttle Bus Ticket: 600 yen for one way

One ticket is valid for one way. For round trip two tickets are required.
