Suzuki Kenji a.k.a Kenji Jammer

Suzuki Kenji was born in 1964 in Tokyo. He was refereed to as "Guitar Boy Genius" as early as highschool and he made his debut with the mini album "Electric Guitar" on Epic Sony record at the age of 19 in 1983. Since then he has released 4 full albums and 3 12-inch singles on the same label, performed opening acts on the Japan tours of Stevie Ray, Vaughan, and Deep Purple, and appeared as a guest on Ryuichi Sakamoto's album "Miraihayaro". In 1987, he held the live show "Inazuma Super Session" with Jack Bruce (ex-member of Cream) in Tokyo. He moved his base to England at Jack's suggestion, and made appearances mainly as session guitarist on recordings of various artists such as Bono (from U2), Corinne Bailey Rae, SealAAnnie Lennox, The Lighthouse Family and Bomb The Bass. Starting 1998 Suzuki Kenji joined recordings and world tours as a guitarist with Simply Red and met Charles, Prince of Wales, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, at the ceremony of the Prince's Trust. In 2002, 9 albums of the Hula-Huka Dance series, including his greatest hits, were released on Ooo2 Records under the name of Kenji Jammer.
