Chitose Hajime
Chitose Hajime was born on Amami-oshima island in 1979. Her major debut single "Wadatsumi no Ki" released on EPIC RECORD and 2 months after its release it had climbed to the top of the singles chart. Her 1st album "Hainumikaze" and 2nd album "Nomad Soul" topped the Oricon chart, and she was able to establish a firm position as a top class female singer. After an electrifying marriage in Jan 2004, she had a baby in Jan 2005 and returned to her music career in Nov the same year. Her 3rd album "Hanadairo" meant her complete comeback, and she released a new single "Anata ga Koko ni Ite Hoshii/Miyori no Mori" in Aug 2007. "image7" released on Feb 6th 2008 include the hot tune "Megumi no Ame" which was used for a TV commercial, and she joined the cross-country tour "Live Image" as a vocalist. Her first single in a year "Hotaruboshi (an image song of the motion picture "Climber's High") will be released on Jul 2nd 2008 and its a true pleasure to hear her voice continue to gain beauty and depth with the passing of time!
