GING NANG BOYZ
After the breakup of GOING STEADY in 2003, GING NANG BOYZ was formed by Kazunobu Mineta (Vo). It started out as Mineta's solo project, but was soon joined by Shinya Abiko (B) and Mamoru Morii (D), both former members of GOING STEADY, as well as Chin Nakamura (G). Last year, their documentary DVD "Bokutachi wa Sekai o Kaerukoto wa dekinai", their 1st single "I don't wanna die", and 2nd single "Hikari" were released. They are currently in busy in the studio as well as editing their 2nd DVD. GING NANG BOYZ's song "NY Marathon" is set to be the theme song of the motion picture "Shonen Meriken Sakku" that will be released this fall. Mineta will also be appearing in the film himself, playing the role of the singer in a band that appears in the film's early days.
