THA BLUE HERB
THA BLUE HERB was formed in Sapporo in 1997 by rapper ILL-BOSTINO, track-maker O.N.O and live DJ DJ DYE. Working mainly in Sapporo they released their first album, "STILLING, STILL DREAMING" in 1998 and their second "SELL OUR SOUL" in 2002, both on the group's own label. In 2004 the group worked on the soundtrack of the motion picture "HEAT", and they released their first visual piece of work "THAT'S THE WAY HOPE GOES" in 2005, condensing 8 years of their musical life. Whilst staying true to their HIP HOP roots, the music of THA BLUE HERB incorporates a number of styles and they've made friends with numerous artists from a wide range of genres. They have so far performed more than a hundred live shows across Japan, setting fire to the hearts of music lovers with their challenging sound and lyrics whereever they go. After a long hiatus THA BLUE HERB returned to the music scene in 2007 with their long-awaited 3rd album "LIFE STORY".
