TAKKYU ISHINO
TAKKYU ISHINO formed "DENKI GROOVE" with Pierre Taki in 1989. Around the same time as his first solo release "DOVE LOVES DUB" in 1995, he started working seriously as a DJ. Starting out playing abroad, mainly in Europe, from 1997, a mere year later he was bestowed the great honor to play in front of 1.5 million people at the Final Gathering of the world's biggest techno festival "Love Parade". Since 1999 he has been introducing DJs and artists from overseas to "WIRE", the biggest indoor rave in Japan hosted by TAKKY ISHINO himself and which attracts more than 10 thousand people each year. In 2004, his first albums in 3 years "TITLE#1" and "TITLE#2+#3"(2 discs) were released 2 months apart. "TITLES", export version, was released in Europe and Asia. In 2005, his 4th DJ MIX "A PACK TO THE FUTURE" was released and he formed a new unit "InK" with Hiroshi Kawanabe from TOKYO No.1 SOUL SET, and they released their original full album "C-46" the same year. Their 2nd album, "Ink PunK PhunK", came out in Aug 2006.
