MABOROSHI

MABOROSHI is a producer unit made up of Daisuke Sakama a.k.a Mummy-D from the Hip-hop group Rhyme Star (MC, produce) and Tomoyasu Takeuchi from the funk-rock group Super Butter Dog (G, produce). In the latter 90s, after having met through common friends they hit it off together, sharing the common idea of creating a new kind of borderless music. After making guest-appearances on their respective groups projects they collaborated on Rhyme Star's single "The Great Amateur Rhythm" in 2003. Since then they started working together as a producer unit, assuming the name "Maboroshi" in 2004 and released their debut album "Warudakumi" in Dec the same year. Proceeded in parallel with their group activities, they have been working energetically on productions, remixes, compositions, as well as live shows, and in Nov 2007 their 2nd album "Love Sick" was released.
